Sunday Supper 10-10-10: Party on the Farm

Just got back from an awesome weekend in Savannah. Stay tuned to Blackbird for the juicy details of that trip. It was a doozy. 

When we left Savannah we headed straight up to Athens to a 10-10-10 birthday party in honor of bf's mama. She recently got this awesome farm and has quickly added farmy things like: A PIG, chickens, rooster, and such all in addition to their 7, yes 7, dogs. This place is an animal heaven. 

So Sunday Supper this week took place there. There was BBQ and salads and cheeeese, but I was so hungry that I didn't take any photos of the food. But I took one of the beautiful long table that held all the food. 

Kat, bf's mama, just got this kickin' fridge from NYC a few weeks ago.

Then we started the biggest bon fire I have ever seen! Kat had been collecting branches and such for months!

There no recipe this week for Sunday Supper, but I have a good fall tip. Build a bonfire. It doesnt have to be this big (in fact, its probably best its not), but something about a bonfire brings up those warm, fall feelings.
